An Area Sales Manager / External Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager is required to join a leading manufacturer of sensors covering the Northeast of England. The Area Sales Manager / External Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will have experience working with industrial automation, electrical / electronic products, or sensors. Package Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 OTE: £10,000 - £12,000 Company Car Holidays 25 Days + Bank holidays Pension scheme A shorter working day on the Friday. Area Sales Manager / External Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role: Managing a number of key accounts in the automation sector and OEM customers in various industries Bringing on new business and managing accounts. Working with a team of application engineers to provide solutions for customers and further building relationships. Pricing, negotiating contracts, quotes, consulting customers preparing quotes, and completing applications sales. Providing sales tactics and strategies to move the business forward and grow the patch. Manage budgets efficiently.  Requirements: Experience as an Area Sales Manager / External Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Technical knowledge of the automation sector Ability to plan your own days and time efficiently. Motivation and the drive to grow with a reputable engineering manufacturer. Full UK Driving license and passport. Degree educated or equivalent within the engineering sector. Based in the North East
