Caritas are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Social worker to join Fostering Team in Tameside Council. Key duties of the role include: * Acting as named Social Worker to foster carers * Providing supervision and support to foster carers * Ensuring all relevant standards, policies and guidelines are met * Vising potential carers and undertaking competency-based assessments * Preparing reports on prospective foster carers suitability * Providing training to staff, foster carers, and potential foster carers * Completing and updating Form F assessments Essential Requirements: * Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent * At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services * Social Work England Registration. * Driving license and access to own vehicle.
