Grain Bulk HGV driver

Job Title: Grain Bulk HGV Driver Salary: £45,000 Location: Hertford Contract: Permanent, Full Time     Hours: 45 hours a week, between 7am-7pm   COMPANY An exciting opportunity to work for an established Farm that provides services for the agricultural, construction, sports amenities & biomass sectors based in Hertford. Our client is seeking a Grain Bulk HGV Driver to support the daily running of the business and be a part of their successful team on a long-term basis. SKILLS REQUIRED   ·Hold a full clean LGV (class 1) licence. ·Have a valid Driver Qualification card (CPC). ·To own a valid Digital Tachograph card. ·Must have a minimum of 12 months HGV 1 driving experience. ·Be physically active due to the nature of the role. ·Excellent communication skills. ·Ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism. ·Forklift/Telehandler.   RESPONSIBILITES ·Driver must be a confident bulk operator and be willing to swap trailers from time to complete necessary company needs. This includes potential Bulk Tipping and Walking floor work. (Training will be given) ·Able to load grain. ·Able to swap loaded trailers. ·Plan and complete journeys to the optimum time advantage according to taco rules and regulations. ·Carry out daily vehicle and load checks. ·Complete relevant paperwork to ensure paper trail is kept up to standard. ·Requirement to work a minimum of 4 nights out per week. ·Operate company-owned lorries to transport goods and materials to designated locations safely and efficiently. ·Follow assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. ·Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage or accidents.   ADDITIONAL INFORMATION   ·Health and Well being Programme ·On site Parking ·20 days plus bank holidays ·Holiday Loyalty Programme ·Company Events   Thank you for your interest in this vacancy, which is being advertised by Smart10 Recruitment Group, who are acting as an employment agency / business.
