Asbestos Surveyor

Asbestos Surveyor. Reporting to office in Kettering. Nationwide travel required. Up to £40,000 per year (DOE) + company vehicle with fuel card. DKF are on the lookout for an Asbestos Surveyor to join one of our clients based in the East Midlands. With nearly 20 years’ experience, this market leader offers the full range of asbestos services including training, asbestos surveys, removal, waste disposal and collection, air testing and contaminated land remediation. Regularly completing commercial and domestic projects, including sites within education healthcare and high street names, they are now looking to expand their team due to continued growth. What your core responsibilities would be: * Carrying out thorough asbestos surveys in various sites including commercial and residential properties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. * Perform visual inspections, collect samples, and accurately record data to assess the presence and condition of any asbestos present. * Competent and accurate completion of lab paperwork including Bulk Samples, in a timely and efficient manner. * To provide quality services and information to clients, must have knowledge of all current asbestos health and safety regulations and ensure this is maintained. * Build and maintain relationships within their large client network. To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria: * Must hold BOHS P402 qualification. * At least 12 months experience working in a similar role for a UKAS accredited company. * Previous asbestos surveying experience within a range of different settings. * A strong understanding of asbestos-related regulations, guidelines and best practices. * Must be IT competent, preferably comfortable with Microsoft systems. * Flexibility to travel nationwide to undertake required Asbestos Services. * Full, Clean UK Driving Licence.
