SolidWorks Furniture Designer LOCATION: Leicestershire SALARY: £33,000 About Our client is a leading Joinery, furniture and fit out specialists, spanning Bespoke joinery, commercial interiors, electrical retail, food & leisure, Jewellery, museums & heritage, pharmacy & healthcare. Based in Leicestershire they have full manufacturing capabilities in house as well as a solid supply chain set up. Due to an on-going high demand for their services they are looking for a SolidWorks furniture designer to join the team. Job Role * Working in SolidWorks and producing manufacturing drawings for the in-house manufacturing team and external suppliers. * You will be working with a variety of materials to create custom made furniture and bespoke joinery products. * You will be working through concept sketches and technical designs through to creating manufacturing and production drawings for the workshop teams. * Liaise with internal teams to provide technical advise where necessary * Setting out and agreeing project objectives and timelines for drawing completion. * Training to their drawing style and methods come as standard. Skills and Experience * Have good experience working in SolidWorks * Have experience in technical furniture for construction. * Have experience of working for a company who manufactures in-house. * Ideally have relevant bespoke , commercial fixture and fitting design experience.
