Financial Accountant

Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Financial Accountant to join a dynamic business in Exeter on a 12 month contract. You will be joining the business as part of a highly effective finance function with a collaborative and welcoming finance team. Financial Accountant - The Role: Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will be responsible for: * Developing and managing the statutory reporting * Reviewing and completing financial statements for group entities and liaise with subsidiaries to collate and review information to complete group consolidated statements. * Assisting with financial planning, highlighting any risks or opportunities, and developing financial models for specific projects * Acting as the point of contact for audits. * Business Partnering, advising on technical financial structuring and tax planning. * Liaising with external advisors regarding group and subsidiary tax calculations ensuring that all tax filings are made in a timely manner and providing advice on processes and relevant legislation Financial Accountant - The Rewards In return this employer provides an engaging working environment, competitive salary of c£50,000pa plus outstanding benefits package Location: Onsite, hybrid working Hours: Full time, Mon – Fri Start Date: ASAP If you’re looking for part-time hours we are very happy to consider applications from individuals seeking 4 days per week. Financial Accountant - The Person * We are keen to hear from ACA or ACCA qualified accountants, or similar, with excellent technical knowledge including consolidated accounts, tax and a proven ability to deliver accurate financial reporting. * You will be a self-starter with a high energy approach and a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, change environment where you will be hands on. * You’ll be a first-rate communicator able to build effective relationships as well as business partner with non-finance colleagues. * A natural solutions finder with excellent analytical skills, able to analyse, understand and explain information to non-finance staff at all levels. * You will be a team player and enjoy working in a collaborative manner with colleagues at all levels in the business.
