Ensure accuracy in elements such as regular pay, overtime, bonuses, and other compensations. Prepare and submit payroll tax returns (P60s and P11Ds), ensuring accuracy to avoid penalties. Oversee recruitment, training, and supervision of payroll staff, providing guidance and mentorship. Coordinate workload distribution, prioritize tasks, and enforce deadlines to meet operational goals. Conduct performance evaluations, offering feedback to enhance team performance and productivity.  The ideal candidate will possess: CIPP Qualified or pursuing recognized qualification with extensive payroll expertise. Proficient in payroll software systems for efficient data management and report generation. Comprehensive knowledge of payroll regulations, taxes, and PAYE procedures. Strong mathematical aptitude and keen attention to detail to ensure data accuracy. Expertise in maintaining organized payroll records for auditing and reporting purposes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for addressing queries accurately. Ability to proactively identify and resolve payroll discrepancies. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet management, pivot tables, and VLookup functions.
