Account Manager £24,000 - £30,000 Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 4.30pm Sittingbourne Permanent role Immediate start available Interviews from 10th April 2024 onwards 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) Annual bonus (additional 1 month's salary) and annual 3 day, all expenses covered trip overseas We are working in partnership with a marketing-leading distributor to the construction industry who are looking for a confident, driven, personable Account Manager to join their close-knit team. Ideally, the successful Account Manager will have proven sales experience but attitude and personality is key for this role and candidates without office-based experience have been recruited before and are doing brilliantly as full training will be provided. The duties for this Account Manager will include but not be limited to: Building and maintaining rapport with construction-based clients in your geographical region, this will include the occasional face to face meeting with them and your colleague, their external sales representative Putting together quotes and tenders for current and potential clients Processing orders for your clients Responding to any enquiries and providing updates where needed, including any delivery delays or product issues etc Identifying and following up on any new business opportunities and leads where possibleThe successful Account Manager will have / be: A confident, personable individual who enjoys speaking to different people and builds rapport well Someone who learns new processes and systems well A team player who enjoys working in a small, close knit "all hands on deck" team who support eachother A fast-paced, reactive worker who hates having un-actioned emails in their inbox!
