The Job You’ll Do; * Design and program according to Customer orders and quotes for various sites. * Create manufacturing / engineering drawings using Radan, AutoCAD Software. * Prepare drawings for company Sales Representatives and quotations team, as and when required. * Liaise with Sales Representatives and quotations regarding any queries, as and when required. * Liaise with shop floor Team Leaders and answer any queries in relation to production. * Provide timescales to the CAD CAM Team Leader in relation to customer orders. * Involvement in new product development, productivity, and Industrialisation projects as and when required. * Provide information to the Industrialisation Department, when required. * Program samples for the R&D / Technical Department. * Trouble shooting common machine, program, and production issues. * Any other reasonable duties as directed by the CAD CAM Team Leader. * Audit tooling at regular intervals for production purposes. * Involvement in productivity projects and aim to reduce manufacturing process costs. * Assistance for engineering changes as and when they occur. * To be a point of contact regards Radan technical support for the site. * Management of the OPGL database for Routings and BOM's for special products. * Ensure all CADCAM files are up to date as and when orders are received. About You; * Experience of dealing with manufacturing / engineering drawings is desirable. * Be competent in CAD software, preferably Radan / AutoCAD. * Knowledge of production processes required (sheet metal work processes). * Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff. * Microsoft Office, Excel and Word required (basic level). * Knowledge of database systems is desirable. * Willing and able to undertake occasional travel. * Valid UK driving licence is preferred
