We are a small firm of specialist property consultants based in Wandsworth managing applications from third-party contractors wanting to access telecoms apparatus located on our client's buildings/ rooftops. The role will be 95% computer-based with hybrid working with the majority of the time working from home after initial training. Occasional site surveys to assess existing site risks will be required. We will provide the required training and support throughout. You will be working with surveyors and lawyers and be expected to contribute to Teams meetings with client stakeholders in organisations such as local councils, housing associations, and fire and police authorities. The role will suit someone who has an analytical mind, is organised, and diligent, and must be proficient with Outlook, Excel and Word. The role requires reviewing documentation for completeness, communicating with external and internal parties (mainly by email), updating internal record keeping and occasional reporting. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, be a good communicator, have a methodical approach to working and ability to work independently and as part of a team. The applicant must be prepared to attend sites (99% flat rooftop installation and an occasional green field mast site) and ideally would have a good head for heights and be able to climb vertical fixed metal ladders. The applicant must be of good character and be prepared to undergo police security vetting. Job description For the great majority of the time, your working hours will be Monday to Friday 9-5. You may be required to travel to and from sites requiring an early start or late return. Monitor email addresses for applications to access buildings. Check correct documentation has been submitted with each application. Issue site-specific access process and documentation to the applicant. Review the quality of the documentation submitted and request amendments where appropriate. Flag any access requests to conduct major work to the Managing Director. Submit, complete and quality check documentation to the relevant client, requesting approval for access. Chase access approval as required. When approval has been received, advise the applicant of permission to access. Update the relevant Outlook calendars, databases and WIPs with good record-keeping. Attend sites to assist in occasional H&S audits and equipment audits. Liaise closely with colleagues. Provide assistance to the Managing Director as required. Experience A background in health and safety or Telecoms base station sites would be ideal but not essential as training will be given. Online training courses as well as external training will be provided- First Aid, Working at Height, Ladder Safety, Asbestos awareness, Fire Safety etc. Driving Licence, Registrations and Qualifications A full clean driving licence is not essential but would assist if you are located outside London. The ideal candidate will be qualified to A level with good computer skills.
