Commercial/Supply Chain Analyst Huddersfield Circa £35,000 DOE We’re working with a prestigious worldwide branding agency who, due to growth, are seeking to bolster their commercial division. With offices across the world, you can definitely say this business are firmly on the map for global recognition. They are looking for a Commercial / Supply Chain Analyst to join their rapidly growing business. The perfect candidate will have experience in supply chain management and procurement, category management, cost modelling and data analysis. Alongside excellent communication and personal skills with the ability to manage clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. The role would suit someone who is 2-4 years postgraduation who has gained experience working within a construction, brand / retail fit out supply chain management role; someone who is just starting to get a grasp on their career as a senior stakeholder on the supply chain ladder. It's a multi-faceted role which is primarily split into three areas: Supply Chain, Procurement & Bid Management Lead on-going management and governance of the company supplier portal Lead the Safe-Contractor into remaining regions once it is ready to be implemented Ensure all suppliers are registered and approved on the portal Ensure all bid activity is conducted with fully audited and approved suppliers Regularly interact with colleagues on bid activity Assist in the preparation of implementation and PMO bids. Cost & Data Management Lead the global cost data collation process Devise and implement a process to consistently capture cost data Regularly interact and obtain peer buy in to data collection Present progress and updates to colleagues Create and maintain internal datasets Identify and implement of the use of commercial modelling Market research Look to improve data analytics within the business Support with data visualisation through the use of BI tools. PMO Activity Assist in the development of PMO propositions Provide client facing expertise and advice Assist in providing advice and activity Create key category management plans, which can be referenced to our clients Use cost data to advise clients about commercial decisions Regularly interact with key suppliers to find out about latest market insights Prepare month end invoicing for all PMO consulting activity Manage and co-ordinate project set up for all PMO programmes and activity Add PMO purchase orders to the SAP system and monitor spend against PO value Support the finance team with chasing payments for outstanding invoices Support with collating operational level information for PMO bids and opportunities. Salary & Benefits: The salary on offer for this role is circa £35,000 based on experience.
