Practice Accountant

GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 per annum (DOE)
23 days holiday + birthday off + bank holidays
Trialling a 4-day work week (full-time)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Practice Accountant to join a dynamic and growing client based in Stafford.

Job Description:

• Preparation of corporation tax returns, partnerships and personal tax returns
• Self-assessment tax returns
• VAT returns
• Monthly management accounts
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Preparing budget forecasts
• Tax advisory to companies and individuals
• Completion and submission of payrolls to HMRC
• Liaising with HMRC with queries
• Bookkeeping
• Overseeing and managing staff

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified to ACCA or ACA
• Practice experience essential
• Experience in auditing tax preferred but not essential
• Experience using Iris, Xero, Quickbooks and Sage
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent IT skills
• Good communication skills
