Finance Assistant


A well-established, manufacturing organisation based in Slough is currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a 4-month FTC.

Working as part of a small finance team, the successful candidate will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, which will include:

  • Ensuring that customer product price lists, costs and contracts are all accurate and in place
  • Drafting regular reports on business material usage
  • Generating quotations from information provided by the sales team and ensuring these are completed in a timely manner
  • Providing feedback on sales and operations performance
  • Providing support across various aspects of the finance department including but not limited to: processing invoices and payments, accounts payable and receivable (AR) as well as cash and bank reconciliations.

This role is likely to suit a finance/accounting, maths or business graduate with strong numerical skills, preferably with an A level in Maths. In addition, you will possess excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge and good analytical skills. The ideal candidate will be numerical, have good communication skills and be a team player.
