Financial Reporting Analyst

GBRS are currently looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst, to join our client on a permanent basis, who are based in Yeovil . This is a friendly, national and reputable company.

The financial analyst role will be working closely with the Property team, to provide financial modelling and insight into the new store opening programme and new store performance. This role is pivotal in ensuring our client makes the right investment decisions when allocating capital. This role also provides high quality business performance reporting and detailed analysis highlighting key drivers and their impact on performance. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, requiring excellent analytical, organisation and communication skills.

Essential experience:

• Strong sense of ownership and excellent organisation skills; this role will support Group finance reporting submissions.
• Strong analytical approach, and an ability to manipulate large data sets and to explain complex problems simply.
• Very strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• A desire to drive both continuous improvement and step changes in solution design which may require out of the box thinking.
• Flexibility and ability to adjust to new demands.

Part Qualified or studying towards CIMA, ACCA or equivalent is desirable.

The Financial Reporting Analyst role includes hyrbid working, with 3 days in the office and the rest WFH.

Salary is based on experience and interview.
