Experienced chef manager to take control of a college campus.

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the kitchen operations
  • Plan and execute menus in accordance with dietary guidelines and client preferences.
  • Manage a successful gp with regular stock takes.
  • Ensure food preparation and production are of high quality and meet food safety
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the facility
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Adhere to budgetary guidelines and control costs
  • Ensuring the department runs smoothly with due diligence, discipline and trust
  • Empowering and developing yourself and your colleagues to their full potential with training and encouragement

As a Chef Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, managing staff, planning menus, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, culinary expertise, and the ability to work well under pressure.   • Solid understanding of contract catering
  • must currently hold a chef managers position
  • able to work in a fast paced environment and maintain a cool head
  • great communicator able to build a strong working relationship with the new client
  • A knowledge of current food trends.
  • To be flexible to work weekends as required by the business.
  • Support the Catering manager with staff training and performance reviews and the day to day running with back and front of house
