Junior BOM Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to working with a leading Electronics manufacturer to recruit a Junior BOM Engineer to join their facility in Chesterfield on a 6 month fixed term contract

Our client is looking for a BOM Engineer who is methodical, responsible, highly organised, has good analytical skills and most importantly, shows initiative.

The BOM Engineer will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the overall Hierarchy/Structure of an assembly is maintained
• Part number management - streamline inventory tracking, reduce errors, and facilitate efficient procurement processes
• Defining or updating the manufacturing route, which encompasses the sequence of processes and steps involved in PCB or Assembly production
• Generating and maintaining documentation related to BOMs, part numbers, and routing processes

We are keen to speak with Junior BOM Engineers with the following:

• Degree Qualified
• Excellent attention to detail, highlighting any issues or deviations that arise.
• Familiar with product and manufacturing works instruction creation and implementation.
• Strong experience creating, and maintaining routings and BOMS.
• Confident in the use of Microsoft Excel in regards to Bill Of Materials.
• A basic understanding of Manufacturing Lean Principles
• Accustomed to an H&S, Environmental and quality-led manufacturing environment.
