Care First UK, as Permanent Healthcare Recruitment Specialists, is representing our client for the position of Female Care Worker in the community. The client does not offer sponsorship for employment visas and requires candidates to have the right to work in the UK.

Skills Required:

  • Experience or non-experience in caring for individuals with dementia, the elderly, or learning disabilities
  • Care in the community
  • Knowledge of working with the elderly, dementia patients, and individuals with learning disabilities
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

Job Duties:

  • Providing compassionate care and support to individuals in the community
  • Assisting with personal care tasks, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
  • Supporting mobility and transfers, meal planning, and engaging in meaningful activities
  • Offering companionship, emotional support, and assistance in accessing community resources
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment

Required Qualifications:

  • No specific educational requirements, but a relevant qualification in health and social care would be advantageous
  • Experience in care-related roles preferred but not mandatory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in health and social care
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Additional training in dementia care or specific learning disability support

Working Conditions:

  • Providing care in clients' homes and within the community
  • May involve physical exertion, flexible working hours including weekends and evenings
  • Adherence to personal protective equipment and infection control practices
