Events Sous Chef

BLW Recruitment are a local recruiter, with consultants having serviced the Cambridge market for 10 years.

We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef on behalf of an events company in Cambridge.

• 36k- 38k depending on experience
• Seasonal position, offering great flexibility during the quieter months
• Predominantly working day shifts during the week with events at the weekend
• Working 5 days out of 7 based on 40 hour working week

Candidate specification:

• Previous Sous Chef experience in a similar environment
• Comfortable using fresh food and ingredients daily, creating dishes from scratch and designing menus
• A leader, someone who can run an event and lead by example, managing all aspects and ensuring delivery of great results as per the company's vision
• Good knowledge of Food Hygiene, Allergens, recent certifications are a must
• Showing stability within previous employment history
