Europa is looking for an additional dedicated individual to joint our growing Production team to help meet our increasing customer demand. Europa is based in Luton and this role is based on site in Luton.

About Europa

Europa is a well-established player in the electrical wholesale market, known for distributing a comprehensive array of products. As we continue to grow, we're on the lookout for a talented individual to join our Production team. We take pride in building industry-respected products in-house. As a Production Operator, you ll play a vital role in assembling, wiring and quality testing our most popular products.

In return we will offer you a competitive salary from GBP24,500 per annum dependant upon experience, 23 days holiday which increases with service & the option to purchase more, increased pension contribution, BUPA private healthcare with the option to add family members, 3 x life assurance & EAP, companywide bonus scheme, free onsite parking useful for travel from Luton Airport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively within a team to manufacture electrical switchgear and control gear assemblies.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on team-produced items, adhering to comprehensive QA checklists.
  • Follow production processes and instructions meticulously to ensure precision and accuracy.
  • Embrace training opportunities to operate Europa's cutting-edge production machinery, including the Fibre Laser Machine.
  • Uphold Health and Safety protocols and embody Europa's company values.
  • Flexibility to undertake additional duties as required within the department and across Operations.

Skills & Experience requirements

  • Previous experience as a production operator desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team or independently, prioritizing safety and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical machinery.
  • Commitment to maintaining quality standards and compliance.
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Physical capability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours a day and lift/move products weighing up to 20kg, occasionally at heights of approximately 2 meters.
  • Self-motivated with a positive, 'can do' attitude.
