Engineering Manager - GAS Projects

We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team and lead our GAS Projects division. As the Engineering Manager for GAS Projects, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the engineering activities related to gas projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading a team of engineers to deliver successful outcomes. You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of gas projects, from design and development to installation and commissioning. Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the project lifecycle. Overseeing the design and development of gas systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, sales teams, and customers, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of engineering activities with project objectives. Managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, regulations, and best practices in gas engineering. Conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate mitigation measures to ensure the safety and reliability of gas systems. Reviewing and approving engineering designs, drawings, and documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications. Providing technical support and guidance to the sales team during the pre-sales phase, including technical proposals, feasibility studies, and cost estimation. Staying updated with the latest advancements and trends in gas engineering, and implementing innovative practices to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field. Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in engineering management, preferably in the gas industry. In-depth knowledge and understanding of gas systems design, construction, and commissioning. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders. Demonstrated project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management. Sound knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations pertaining to gas engineering. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming engineering challenges. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in all aspects of work. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Professional engineering certification or membership is preferred.
