Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a highly successful Tier 1 Contractor who due to the award of new projects is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on schemes typically ranging in value from £5 to £50 million. The opportunity As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will lead commercial activities on allocated projects and will work on tendering activities and new projects in the pipeline. This is a great opportunity to contribute in a key role and would suit an experienced Senior Surveyor who has a track record of leading commercial activities on projects and working with Bid / Work Winning and Pre-Construction teams. Projects are primarily based in the Public Sector with some projects in the Private Sector, including Leisure, Justice, Defence, Education, Health and Commercial offices. Qualifications and experience * Main contractor experience within the Construction market. * Experience of different project types and contracts forms. * Experience as a Lead Surveyor on projects ranging between £20m to £50m. * Demonstrably commercially focused with a proven track record of delivering high quality results whilst maintaining positive relationships. * Experience in establishing, managing and leading a large project team and /or multiple smaller project teams Qualifications * Recognised qualification in a building related subject * Chartership with MCIOB or MRICS is preferable You will be joining a highly respected business who promote a positive and flexible working environment and culture, and offer a highly competitive salary and exceptional benefits package, commensurate with a top 10 Contractor.
