Health and Beauty Product Designer Job in Christchurch (12-Month Contract) Dovetail Recruitment are very pleased to be working with a thriving client based in Christchurch who has an exciting new opportunity for a Health and Beauty Product Designer to join their team! You’ll be working in a vibrant, fast-paced office environment alongside key stakeholders in the business including Account Managers, Product Developers and Technical Managers to deliver creative projects for a wide range of clients. This position provides an incredible opportunity to solidify your creative skillset and work with a huge range of health and beauty products held in the UK’s most well-established and longest-standing grocers and retailers. Benefits: * Circa £32k Per annum * Hybrid – A minimum of 2 days in the office in Christchurch * 25 days holiday per annum + BH * Extensive benefits programme including buying additional holiday, medical cash plan, access to mental health support and many other benefits * Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Leave * Generous Company Sick Pay * Pension Scheme Contribution * Social events run by the in-house Social Team * Cycle to Work scheme * Dress down Fridays Duties & Responsibilities of the Health and Beauty Product Designer: * Take ownership of projects from idea conception to artwork delivery under the guidance of the Design Manager. * Making visual mock-ups of new packaging designs, both digitally and physically. * Assist the Product Development Managers with artwork approvals, to ensure accurate, consistent and well-designed products are delivered on time. * Creating designs and style guides for use with packaging, and products. * Artworking designs and preparing files to send to printers/suppliers. * Working closely with the Design Manager to manage and maintain workflows on a daily basis to ensure a smooth running of the team and category. * Design presentations for internal teams and new business pitches * Attend internal meetings and contribute where necessary. * Adhere to the deadlines and briefs set out by the Product Development Team. * Maintain brand consistency across all brands with the ability to translate across events and experiences. Knowledge & Experience: * Experience with packaging design or designing print * Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop * Able to work towards branding guidelines and style guides * Driving licence This Health and Beauty Product Designer job in Christchurch would suit candidates who have some experience working as a Graphic Designer, ideally within a product-based industry.
