Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) Location: Shropshire Crisis Home Treatment Team - Adults Contract Duration: 3-month contract with potential for extension Are you an experienced and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) seeking an exciting opportunity to work within a Crisis Home Treatment Team? We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 RMN to join our team in Shropshire, providing crucial support to adults experiencing mental health crises. Role Overview: As a Band 6 RMN within the Crisis Home Treatment Team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will provide timely interventions and therapeutic support to enable service users to manage their mental health needs within their own homes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to the needs of each service user. Deliver evidence-based interventions and therapeutic support to promote recovery and well-being. Provide crisis intervention and support to service users and their families during periods of acute distress. Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care. Monitor service user progress and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve positive outcomes. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and clinical supervision sessions to enhance professional development and service delivery. Shift Pattern: Mix of shifts including days and nights. Days: 7.45am till 8pm Nights: 7.45pm till 8am 2 days on, 1 day off pattern. Rota shift pattern. Rates: £25.50 per hour for days £30.75 per hour for nights/Saturdays £35.90 per hour for Sundays/Bank Holidays Requirements: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification with active NMC registration. Previous experience working within mental health crisis services is highly desirable. Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and autonomously. Commitment to providing person-centered care and promoting service user empowerment.
