Project Manager

A long-established Regional contractor that undertake new build and refurbishment projects predominantly within the Industrial, Commercial, Retail and Residential sectors are looking to appoint a Project Manager to deliver a steel frame apartment scheme in Stockport of £15m. Reporting into a Contracts Manager you will have full responsibility for the day to day running of the site, managing the construction process safely, efficiently and in a cost effective manner. Project Manager Duties will include: Responsibility for the management, planning, programming & phasing of the project. Managing your team; setting objectives and developing people within it Acting as the Client point of contact on site Ensure best practices and quality are being maintained Monitoring and co-ordination of subcontractor activity Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the client and designers To monitor the progress of the project and manage issues as they arise Responsible for all health and safety on site and liaison with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager Ensure all documentation is correctly administered and Company Procedures are followedYou will need to have proven experience of successfully delivering multi bed projects such as Apartments, Student Accomodation, or hotels of over £10m. You will also be customer focused, results driven and Health & Safety conscious. A valid SMSTS certificate, First Aid certificate and CSCS Managers Card are all essential requirements
