Field Service Engineer Glasgow/Stirling/Edinburgh Salary: between £37,252 (£17.91ph) to £38,604 (£18.56ph), depending on experience! Hours: Monday to Friday (minimum 40 hours) + Overtime. Some Saturday working and overnights may be required - agreed in advance. Our Client... Field Service Engineer required to join our clients growing team servicing and maintaining spraybooths mainly in the automotive industry. With 30 years of experience, you would be joining an already established team with dedicated support structures to help you succeed in this role. The role: * Service and maintenance of commercial Spraybooths in the automotive and aerospace industry. * Fault finding and repairs of spraybooths and ancillary equipment. * Control of all stock and equipment required to complete the necessary works including van stock. * Prepare daily reports/worksheets and job sheets via the company operating system. * Provide excellent customer service as you will be dealing directly with the clients on a day to day basis. * Good understanding of health & safety. * Some working away from home required and on occasions longer days Qualifications and Experience: * NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations and Testing (Essential) * Full UK Driving Licence * Experience with 3 phase motors * Bearing changes or other mechanical skills * Knowledge of PLC/Drives About you... * Ability to work as part of a 2 man team as the Lead Engineer with an Engineer's Assistant of your choosing. * Strong organisation and time management skills. * Good communications skills. * Ability to use own initiative and logical thinking to solve problems.
