Architectural Technologist

Role – Architectural Technologist Type - Permanent Location – Newcastle upon Tyne Salary - £30,000 - £40,000 CDM Recruitment are delighted to announce they have an opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to work at an award-winning multidisciplinary architecture practice in Newcastle upon-Tyne. In the post of Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction project from inception to completion, showcasing your strong design and technical abilities throughout. Taking a leading role in the technical decisions, including the management of personnel involved. The Architectural Technologist will have the following attributes: * 3+ years’ post qualification experience. * A degree in Architectural Technology or other relevant qualifications * Architectural design software skills including Revit, AutoCAD and other architectural design software * Experience of working and detailed construction drawings, as well as planning application drawings * Site experience of inspecting projects during construction and contract management * A good knowledge of UK Planning and Building Regulations The Architectural Technologist role will involve: * Working in a Revit & BIM Environment * Assist with running and overseeing projects * Producing detailed technical drawings in an accurate and timely manner * Liaising with the client and all members of the project team * Producing planning applications and building regulation drawings * Evaluating site conditions and performing site surveys * Chair design and project meetings If you meet the above standards and are interested in learning more about this career opportunity, we’d love to hear from you
