Accountant

Part Qualified Accountant / Qualified Accountant Required to join a leading utilies construction organisation based in Hatfield, Welywn Garded City, on a full time, permanent basis.

This Company Accountant position is offering ACCA/Study support for finance candidates who are working towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA.

This is a fast paced busy opportunity for an experienced Accountant with excellent management accounts knowledge, looking to join a dynamic and established finance team offering an excellent remuneration package.

Accountant Position Overview

• Working closely with the Head of Finance and supporting the ledger team
• Assist in preparing Monthly Management Accounts
• Monthly Payroll Spend Analysis
• Calculating and Processing Accruals and prepayments
• VAT Return Preparation and Submission
• Assist in preparation of Budgets and Forecasts
• High Spend Reporting, Cost Analysis and Variance Analysis

Accountant Position Requirements

• Sage 200 experience is required
• Excellent excel knowledge
• Management accounts preparation
• Have a full license and car
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified / part qualified - actively studying
• Prior experience within utilities, construction, engineering highly advantageous

Accountant Position Remuneration

• 45,000 rising after successful probation
• Hybrid working for up to 2 days per week (40%)
• Hours 08.00 - 16.00 Monday to Friday
• 3% pension
• Life cover 2x salary
• Full study support
• 25 days Holiday + bank holidays
