Marketing Assistant

For this role, we are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Team to deliver multi-channel marketing activities, including but not limited to catalogue, direct mail, email, social media and trade press. The successful candidate will have an interest in all areas of marketing, and a passion to support and learn from experts in their fields.

About the Role

  • Support the Direct Marketing Team with related marketing activity including creation and reporting of direct mail, emails, sales campaigns, multi-channel marketing content and discount code management.
  • Support the Brand Marketing Team with related brand activity e.g. PR, trade press, social media, loyalty programme, referral programme, key brand initiatives.
  • Produce wider business communications e.g. the weekly trading document detailing all marketing activity.
  • Assist with Marketing Team administration, including but not limited to, processing the monthly credit card statement, managing the daily catalogue requests, dealing with competition winners, supporting with customer WOW activity, supporting with order box activity.

About You

  • Organised and conscientious - able to manage various tasks/projects simultaneously and be responsible for own deadlines.
  • Knowledgeable - have an understanding or awareness of all marketing channels to be able to assist with the delivery of a full strategy and tactical plan (full training will be provided).
  • Analytical - have an interest in effective reporting to understand campaign performance (knowledge of Excel is preferable but not required).
  • Creative and accurate - creatively minded with a good attention to detail.
  • Verbal and written communication skills - able to assist with producing marketing content and company presentations (knowledge of PowerPoint is preferable but not required).
