We are now looking for a Communications Manager to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

The Role

As our Communications Manager, you will lead the ‘plan, do, and review’ of impactful campaigns and content strategies.

You will oversee communications which promote equality, our life-changing services, and spotlight our communities’ stories, including communications and campaigns focused on
key LGBT calendar dates, and those showcasing our services and priorities.

Organising and delivering our website and social media activity, you will leverage optimal digital engagement and reach LGBTQ+ communities and stakeholders.

You will plan a cross-organisational campaign and content calendar, showcasing our approach, using evidence and intelligence to produce campaigns which are cohesive, purposeful, and align with our audience development strategy.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage communications volunteers
- Contribute to fostering diversity and inclusion in our campaigns and content
- Ensure on-going excellence and quality throughout all our communications

About You

To be considered as Communications Manager, you will need:

- Experience in a communications and marketing role
- Experience in empowering and inspiring people and communities
- Experience in a supervisory role or managing staff and/or volunteers
- Experience with digital platforms
- Experience of project management in a fast paced environment
