Credit Controller - Temporary-Permanent Have you got over a years' experience in Credit Control, looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a company based in Basildon on a temp-perm basis. Hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm and 7:30am - 1:45pm every Friday. Who doesn't like an early finish on a Friday? This is a fully office-based role with free parking. £12-£13 hourly rate initially with an increase after becoming a permanent member of the team. Duties will include: Raising and posting sales invoices Chasing debts, invoices and ensuring outstanding invoices are paid, matching with the correct purchase order numbers Updating the company database with the correct contact information and amounts Answering and handling incoming calls and responding to emails Maintaining spreadsheets with current information Supporting the Management Accountant and Finance Controller with ad hoc tasks as requiredTo be successful for this position, you must be highly organised with strong attention to detail, as you will be inputting invoices onto the in-house system. You must be an excellent communicator with a professional telephone manner, as you will be chasing customers for overdue payments. Good knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel are essential.
