Business Development Manager Location: Leeds / Manchester Salary: £38,000-£42,000 per annum + bonus + company car + phone + laptop CE Solutions are proud to be working with LISTA who, for over 75 years now, have been a recognised market leader in Europe for workspace and storage solutions, manufacturing workshop and warehouse furnishings in three production facilities and selling them around the world through our sales offices and distributors. The LISTA UK sales team are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to increase sales of Lista solutions to new and existing customers. The role: The role focuses primarily on generating new business, also retaining and managing current relationships that LISTA enjoys with various clients and industries. You will be finely tuned in prospecting leads and have a hunter mentality meaning that you are opportunity minded and constantly thinking of where the next opportunity will come from, regardless of challenges. What you’ll do… * Dealing directly with customers from all areas of the business including end-users, project managers, distribution partners and business owners * Identify opportunities by keeping abreast of projects such as building developments, expansions and relocations of our typical core customers * Generating revenue from new and existing business * Sales forecasting plus reporting duties * The successful candidate will have experience in building and maintaining a large portfolio of clients and negotiation experience * Accuracy is important therefore attention to detail is a key attribute of the successful candidate * The candidate will be happy to demonstrate the use of products at trade shows and exhibitions. An individual who has worked in a technical role and has experience in specifying complimentary products to produce quotations would be an advantage, however, full product training to the right person can be given * Visiting sites, taking measurements resulting in accurate quotations and correct product specification What you’ll need… The candidate: The ideal candidate will bring their determined approach to prospecting for new business. You will have previous experience maintaining a large portfolio of clients and have first-rate negotiation experience. You will be responsible for your own day-to-day planning so must be highly motivated with top organisational and communicative skills. LISTA are looking for someone who’s technically minded, with excellent attention to detail.
