Work alongside support staff to ensure that the needs of all pupils are met. Provide feedback to pupils, in line with the school’s policy. Plan lessons effectively if it is a long-term full class role. Attend meetings and training relevant to this role. Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents. Set clear expectations for behaviour and learning in the classroom. To apply for this Early Career Teacher (ECT, formally known as NQT) role you will need the following: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) qualification. Experience teaching in a primary school such as on a placement. Confidence in teaching primary lessons to all abilities. A passion for education and a desire to create better outcomes for all your students. Be adaptable and reliable, reacting with confidence to new challenges. A minimum of 2 excellent references required, including a school reference.
