We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a Refurb & Maintenance contractor, who are looking for Assistant QS based in Dorset. Day to Day: Undertaking feasibility studies Performing risk and value management assessments Procurement Cost planning Change management and valuation Final account negotiation Report writing Bank monitoring surveying Reinstatement valuations Contract Administration Requirements (Skills & Qualifications): Degree educated (not necessarily in quantity surveying) Open to candidates from Graduate to Assistant level Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) A reasonable understanding of construction methodologies and techniques Good knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook A full clean driving licence Benefits: Holiday pay, pension     Car allowance     Training and career development Please apply or contact Kirsty at Build Recruitment for further details.
