Finance Manager


Our client, a leader in its field require an experienced Finance Manager to over see the ream and report into the Financial Controller The role offers 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, health care and pension You will be able to demonstrate solid experience as a finance manager/financial accountant or management accountant, working in a supervisory capacity This role will oversee, manage and mentor 4 members of the UK Finance Team. Key areas involved include Accounts Payable, Banking, Supplier relationship management and Payroll. The role will also assist with month end journals, reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations. Financial reporting and business partnering with the operational areas of the business will also be included within this role. Expense management will also be a key focus of this role, you will advise and guide on expense policies and offer guidance to employees and managers. What else will you get involved in? * Business Planning * Supply Chain assistance * Audit and Tax assistance * BOM cost analysis * Credit Card Management and Reconciliations * Managing the team calendar * Assisting on employee travel bookings * Finance KPI management * Help liaise with HR on policies and payroll topics * Assist with Special Projects Accounting * Manage weekly payment reports and ensure payments are categorised correctly * Assistance with other Accounts duties Requirements: * Finance experience and understanding of finance terminology * Experience of managing a small team * A Recognised Finance Qualification * Stock experience and knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics * Demonstrable experience within a manufacturing environment. * Excellent proficiency in all MS packages inc. Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & other finance data management and modelling tools. This role is office based role, 8-5 Monday to Friday
