Responsibilities: Lead Product Safety Assurance in equipment design, aligning with client specifications. Provide expert guidance to internal teams and stakeholders. Integrate safety considerations throughout the design process and product lifecycle. Manage the implementation of Project Safety Management Systems. Innovate cost-effective safety practices. Resolve complex safety issues, compile technical reports, and present findings. Develop safety arguments for diverse equipment. Ensure compliance with statutory, business, and customer safety standards. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and provide Product Safety knowledge to others.Qualifications: Proven expertise in Product Safety Engineering with a track record of implementing Safety Management Systems. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and standards (e.g., HASAWA, COSHH, REACh, BS EN 61508, Def Stan 00-056, Def Stan 00-055, etc.).Desirable (non-essential): CEng accreditation or equivalent experience.
