Quantity Surveyor Swindon £28K-60K About the Company Leading Building & Civils Contractor are hiring multiple Quantity Surveyors to join their ever growing and top quality commercial team. This top Main Contractor has an excellent reputation for developing their staff and delivering award winning Projects year on year – they have delivered some of Ireland and the UK's most prestigious developments. Duties * The role will based out of the Antrim office * Assisting with ensuring robust commercial processes are in place. * Assisting with a number of live projects or projects at pre-implementation phase. * Management and control of sub-contract accounts and variation accounts. * Assisting and liaising with the buyers on materials procurement. * Measure progress, assist in submitting valuations, final accounts in a timely manner. * Attend project and company related meetings. * To carry out any other reasonable duties assisting other member of the QS team Key requirements * A degree or equivalent in QS. * Commercial awareness and the willingness to learn / be part of a team. * An understanding of general IT systems (Microsoft Office suite, Excel.) * An understanding of cost and contract management systems.
