Senior Quantity Surveyor

A leading Family Owned Main Contractor are looking to further strengthen their commercial team by securing a Senior Quantity Surveyor in their Glasgow office. The business has an excellent reputation in the market for delivering public and private sector projects up to the value of £30 million. What you’ll be doing: * The Senior QS will take full responsibility of the projects from successful tender award through to final accounts. * You will prepare and report accurate monthly CVRs to internal stakeholders. * Procure and manage sub contractors and maximise commercial performance of the project. * Oversee junior Quantity Surveyors and assist in their personal development. What you’ll need to be successful: * Ideally you will be educated to degree level within relevant subject (Quantity Surveying). * Previous exposure working within a recognised Building Main Contractor. * Comfortable managing projects up to £20 million in value. * Experience working with Commercial Contracts such as NEC/JCT/SBCC * Willing to work on project West Central Scotland What’s in it for you: * Salary up to £60,000 DOE * Car or Car Allowance * Additional benefits such as pension, health care, bonus etc. * Opportunity to progress to Managing QS or Commercial Manager and beyond.
