Location: North West region, encompassing locales such as Blackburn, Bolton, and neighbouring areas. Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £28,000 with pension benefits. Background: Previous titles for this role include Key Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, Internal Account Manager, Customer Retention Officer, Account Retention Manager, Sales Manager, and Commercial Sales Manager. Experience Required: Proficient organizational capabilities with a knack for task prioritization. Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at fostering relationships with both new and existing clients. Prior experience as a Technical Sales Administrator, with any background in Waste Management being considered. Essential expertise in handling Hazardous waste categories such as Clinical waste, WEE waste, Tankering, or White goods. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preference for candidates with an HNC in Chemistry or higher. Minimum of one year's experience in hazardous waste management. Desirable familiarity with WM3 waste classification. Responsibilities: Manage a substantial portfolio of client accounts effectively. Cultivate and strengthen client relationships through consistent engagement. Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing timely and accurate quotations. Perform duties primarily within an office setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate adeptness in resolving potential contract cancellations and achieving high retention rates. Additionally, they will contribute to the enhancement of sustainable Waste Management practices through evidence-driven contract development.
