We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced British Sign Language Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school community in Brent as soon as possible. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the life of a Deaf child with additional needs, including suspected ASD/Autism. Role Details: You will be providing crucial support to a Deaf child in Year 1 who communicates orally and has behavioural needs associated with additional conditions, potentially including ASD/Autism. Additional Details: Location: Brent Start Date: Immediate Salary: £85-£105 per day, dependent on experience Duration: Initially for the Summer term, with potential for extension to September (to be confirmed in July)Candidate Requirements: Proficiency in British Sign Language (BSL) Previous experience working with children with Deafness and additional needs, particularly ASD/Autism Kindness, firmness, patience, and understanding in supporting behavioural and communication needs Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support the child's holistic developmentSchool Details: Join a supportive school community dedicated to providing inclusive education and support for all students.
