Design Engineer (Scaffolding)

Scaffolding Design Engineer London Up to £75k (depending on experience) Permanent Fulltime LAB. are currently recruiting for one of London’s most prestige scaffolding contractors and with continued growth from the business they’re looking to expand their Design division, therefore, we are seeking an experienced Design Engineer. MUST have a minimum of 3 years’ Design experience in scaffolding, specifically Construction and Industrial with a background in temporary work schemes. The Role: · Work Collaboratively the existing Design Engineers to support the development and growth of that division. · Design and production of technical drawings, using AutoCAD. · Produce detailed calculations. · Obtain relevant information for designs. · Liaising with clients face to face/phone/email regarding project specifics where required. Who we are looking for - · Previous scaffolding experience essential - Must be able to demonstrate technical knowledge of complex scaffolds. (temporary works experience is advantageous) · Strong computer skills – proficient using AutoCAD · Confident communicator. · Hard working & determined mind set. · Meticulous attention to detail in your own work. · Ambition & drive to further skill set.
