Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber

Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber. Location: Birmingham, West Midlands. Salary / Benefits £22k - £35k + Training + Benefits We are working closely with a Water Hygiene / Legionella company who have a strong presence in the Midlands region. This role would suit a candidate who has experience carrying out water sampling, temperature monitoring and TMV servicing alongside remedial plumbing duties such as rerouting and replacing PVC and copper pipework. The successful candidate will traveling across the Midlands / Staffordshire area, covering Healthcare, Commercial, Educational, and Leisure sites to ensure client sites comply with ACoP L8 guidelines. Consideration will be given to candidates from: West Bromwich, Walsall, Tamworth, Lichfield, Coalville, Burton upon Trent, Stafford, Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Solihull, Ludlow, Worcester, Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Beeston, Derby, Nottingham, Loughborough, Market Harborough. Experience & Qualifications: " Will hold a qualification related to plumbing (City and Guilds / NVQ L2 / L3). " Experience working within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry working within an engineering and / or plumbing role. " Able to demonstrate practical knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines. " Excellent communication skills. " Able to manage workload efficiently. The Role: " Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring. " TMV & failsafe services. " Cleans and descales of showerheads. " CWST cleaning, chlorination, disinfection, and removal. " Deadleg removals. " Rerouting and removal of pipework (PVC & Copper) " Mains injections. " Flushing of little used outlets. " Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work. " Working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
