Y Rôl

Fel Gofalwr, byddwch yn darparu gwasanaeth gofal, cynnal a chadw a thrwsio cynhwysfawr i’n hadeiladau a’n tiroedd ym Mhlas Tan y Bwlch.

Gan oruchwylio diogelwch y prif adeilad a'r adeiladau allanol, byddwch yn agor a chau'r Tŷ, yn diarfogi'r larwm, yn troi'r prif oleuadau ymlaen ac yn cerdded trwy'r adeilad i'w archwilio bob bore.

Bydd eich dyletswyddau hefyd yn cynnwys:

- Rhaglennu a gweithredu'r system wresogi
- Gwneud gwaith cynnal a chadw ac atgyweirio gosodiadau a ffitiadau
- Sicrhau bod y maes parcio a'r llwybr troed yn ddiogel i'w defnyddio
- Cynnal profion wythnosol ar y system larwm tân ac archwiliadau misol o oleuadau argyfwng
- Cynnal stoc o'r holl eitemau angenrheidiol megis sebon, papur toiled, deunyddiau glanhau ac ati.
- Sefydlu ystafelloedd cynadledda

We are now looking for a Caretaker to join us on a full-time basis, for a 6 month fixed term contract.

The Role

As a Caretaker, you will provide a comprehensive care, maintenance and repair service to our buildings and grounds in Plas Tan Y Bwlch.

Overseeing the security of the main building and the external buildings, you will open and close the House, disarm the alarm, turn on the main lights and walk through the building to inspect it every morning.

Your duties will also include:

- Programming and operating the heating system
- Undertaking maintenance work and repairing fixtures and fittings
- Ensuring the car park and footpath are safe to use
- Undertaking weekly tests of fire alarm system and monthly inspections of emergency lights
- Maintaining a stock of all necessary items such as soap, toilet paper, cleaning materials etc.
- Setting up conference rooms

About You

To be considered as a Caretaker, you will need:

- The ability to communicate effectively in Welsh and English
- DIY maintenance and repair skills
