Agenda Partnership have partnered with a Wellingborough based client who is recruiting for a Marketing Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Your role will be to continue to maintain and develop a strong established brand, as one of the UK s most respected within their space. You will need to ensure their prospects understand how their offering is differentiated with their engagement tools, bespoke solutions, and services.

With Marketing professionals being you audience, you will be responsible for building their position as a leader improving clients ROI. You will promote their unique approach, capability, methodology and services and this is where strong creativity and excellent copy writing skills become vital as does the ability to provide a 'walk in their shoes' experience.

This is a role reporting directly to our Managing Director, also working with the Head of New Business and internal creative resources.

This role will also cover different brands within their business with a totally different proposition for the target audience.

You will have the benefit of working alongside our current marketing manager who is being promoted to run their online business, but who will also be on hand as a digital/web marketing technical resource moving forward.

Your experienced approach will drive the sales leads required to meet our ambitious targets for growth in revenue.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Develop, plan and implement a creative marketing strategy in line with the company objectives and thought leadership ambitions.
  • Plan and implement strategies for generating new sales leads and enhancing customer retention and up-sell including the prospecting data programme mentioned above
  • Measure results and quality of lead generation activity
  • Hold responsibility for brand management, corporate identity and PR
  • Educate their sales and broader teams from a marketer s perspective
  • Create and develop stand out marketing campaigns, communications and sales tools across all platforms great copywriting is a key skill here!
  • Constantly evolve their showroom
  • Beautifully craft emails, blogs, web content, white papers and brochures
  • Plan, co-ordinate and implement their campaign and presence for several high profile events
  • Reporting of relevant marketing information to MD and provide updates at management and sales meetings
  • Plan, manage and control the annual marketing budget
  • Manage external agencies, media partners and suppliers
  • Manage, train and motivate the marketing team

Skills and experience required:

  • A skilled, creative and experienced marketer with first hand exhibiting or event management experience
  • Excellent copy writing skills, style and flair creating high quality best practice content is key
  • An analytical and strategic approach with strong Microsoft Excel and data interpretation skills
  • A good command and understanding of web, email and social marketing. (strong internal technical support is on-hand)
  • Experience of database/CRM operation or management
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to drive results and best value from external suppliers.
