Job Description for Bookkeeper:   Our client has the opportunity for a bookkeeper to join their team in a beautiful rural area of Redditch. This is a standalone position so previous experience within SME as a bookkeeper, accounts assistant or senior accounts assistant is essential. The role is office-based Monday-Friday 38.5 hours per week with a salary of £27-33,000 depending on experience. Must have own transport for this position due to the location of the role.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Credit control, via invoicing, monthly statements & chasing overdue invoices Balance sheet reconciliations to include bank accounts. Preparation of VAT Returns for review Process customer invoicing & creditor payments Assist in the overall preparation & presentation of quarterly & annual accounts Check customer ID and contracts Process card payments Payment allocation on Sage Resolve customer queries on telephone & email Support the Account Manager as required  KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES Strong Organiser & Multi-Tasker Problem solving and ‘can do’ approach Attention to detail – meticulous, thorough, and right first-time mentality Knowledge of Sage 50 is advantageous.
