Preconstruction Manager


COMPANY A leading D&B Commercial office Fit Out contractor who are now recognised as one of the leading names in the industry are currently seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join their team. They offer a one stop shop for the commercial fit out sector, providing workplace design and build and detail and build. They have built a reputation in the industry for always making a positive impact for their clients providing a consultative approach to creating the perfect workspace for their clients. They are innovative and forward thinking and at the cutting edge of commercial office D&B fit out, they continue to go from strength to strength and are looking to add to their team due to continued success. THE ROLE They are looking for a Preconstruction Manager to join their business. They undertake D&B and Detail and Build commercial fit out projects in London and are looking for a Preconstruction Manager, ideally with D&B experience, capable of taking projects from initial enquiry to pass it on to the project delivery team. Typical duties would include:- * Manage/lead preconstruction process, for assigned projects, including: budgeting, estimating, bidding, engineering etc. * Receiving initial enquiry, preparing subcontractor tender packages and managing tender * Involvement in Client pitch presentations * Hand-over to delivery team * Assessing and interpreting client brief * Co-ordination of sub-contractors * Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality. * Working with sub-contractors in order to cost the works * Preparing specifications and estimating projects using Excel spreadsheet system * Preparing technical documentation for presentations to prospective clients * Formatting and managing pre-contract programmes * Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliance in all the procurement transactions. THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidates will be working for a D&B Commercial Fit Out contractor in London, they want someone who is capable of working autonomously and managing a team.
