Extra Care Manager


Are you a compassionate and driven individual with a passion for helping others live independently? We are seeking an enthusiastic Extra Care Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an Extra Care scheme and ensure the well-being and satisfaction of residents. Responsibilities: * Manage the overall operation of the Extra Care scheme, including staff supervision, resident services, and facility maintenance. * Ensure the delivery of person-centered care that meets the individual needs and preferences of each resident. * Recruit, train, and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance and support as needed. * Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external partners. * Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety guidelines. * Implement programs and activities to promote social engagement, physical well-being, and mental stimulation among residents. * Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation for the Extra Care scheme. Requirements: * Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the social care sector. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach. * Understanding of person-centered care principles and a commitment to promoting independence and dignity. * Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in adult social care. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment. * QCF Level 5 or working towards
