Job Title: KS1 Early Years Teacher Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Bradford Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £120 - £135 Per day Job Duties: The KS1 Early Years Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to young learners. They will create a stimulating learning environment, assess students' progress, and provide feedback to parents and colleagues. The teacher will also collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being and development of the children. Required Qualifications: A recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent, is essential. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required. Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and experience working with young children is necessary. Education: A degree in Education or a related field is preferred. Experience: At least 2 years of experience teaching in a KS1 classroom setting is required. Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The candidate must have a good understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies. Strong organisational abilities and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues are important. Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in Early Years Education or Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be advantageous. Working Conditions: The role involves working in a school environment, with regular hours from Monday to Friday. The teacher may need to attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events outside of regular hours.
