Radio Field Technician - North London

Radio Technician - North London Location: Travel required around North London (including Essex, Chelmsford, Stevenage, Luton, Cambridge, Peterborough) Total Package * Up to £39K base salary * 5% Shift Allowance * Company vehicle * 5% pension contribution * Private Medical * 25 days annual leave * Access to our comprehensive flexible benefits including discounts on big brands, wellness and employee assistance programmes, gymflex, buy and sell annual leave, travel and dental insurance * Career progression to an Engineer Must have: * Must have a Clean driving license * Working knowledge of systems and equipment relevant to role such as RF systems, DVB, Analogue Radio, DAB, Microwaves, Sat Comms, Data Networks, Telecoms etc.;. * Some knowledge of the development, testing and maintenance of software/hardware for Broadcast, IP Network, IOT or corporate application depending on technical area of expertise * Be prepared to work away from home at times Key Responsibilities: * Complete planned works and maintenance on a range of systems and networks, DAB, FM, AM etc * Respond to faults and service outages and complete corrective maintenance in line with Arqiva standards, policies and procedures * Support upgrades and modifications to existing RF (Radio frequency) systems and networks following agreed instructions * Maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting of actions taken * Complete testing and measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and customer requirements * Working knowledge of the principles of power supplies, environmental controls, analogue and digital electronics * Engage with customers and build positive working relationships * Career progression next step in your career would be to become an engineer Why join Arqiva?
