Clinical Skills Trainer Location: Glasgow. Salary: £32,000 + benefits. Contract: Full-time, permanent. We are currently looking for a motivated and quality-driven Clinical Skills Trainer in Glasgow to join our growing H1 family. The individual should be qualified as a Nurse and hold experience in delivering and planning training sessions. Job Role Overview: The main purpose of the role is to deliver a range of training session and clinical skills sessions within the Health and Social Care sector to a mix of participants, including to Nurses, Dental Nurses, Support Workers, Healthcare Assistants, and Domestic Assistants across various locations within Scotland. This is a busy role which involves travelling across a variety of locations within Scotland, including Glasgow, Dundee, Edinburgh and Aberdeen delivering training sessions 5 days a week including in client venues. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in delivering training and clinical skills training within the Health and Social Care sector. Must be suitably qualified (Nursing Qualification or similar) including relevant Training Qualification(s), reliable and be able to confidently evaluate participants. Main Responsibilities: * To deliver training sessions, including face-to-face, eLearning and webinars * Develop and deliver engaging and informative training materials * Travel to and from training venues, set up and clear down * Demonstrate proper techniques in Moving and Handling (including hoist) and Basic Life Support (Adults and Children) * Deliver clinical skills training, including catheterization, epilepsy awareness, venipuncture, administration of medication * Design and perform assessment and evaluations of end user training * Evaluate participants performance and provide constructive feedback * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines during training sessions * Keep up to date with current practices, techniques and legislation * Complete attendance logs and evaluation forms * Upload attendance logs to Learning Management Software * Send out invitations and confirm delegate attendance including on day of training * Upload attendance logs and update pass scores on Learning Management software (same day as session delivered) * Complete all training administration tasks required, including but not limited to preparing course paperwork, attendance logs, training feedback forms * Work with the Training Manager on course planning, and producing course content * Evaluate course content regularly, ensuring all required standards and legislation is met * Promote the training offering to existing and potential clients * Any other ad-hoc tasks as required? Skills, Knowledge & Experience: Essential: * Proven Experience of delivering training within the Health and Social Care sector * Nursing Qualification or similar * Own Vehicle and Valid UK Driving Licence * Experience of delivering and assessing Basic Life Support, Moving and Handling (including Hoist), PMVA training * Experience of Learning Management Software Systems * Experience of delivering e-learning, webinars and face to face training courses * Blended approach when delivering and designing training materials * Excellent telephone manner and communication skills * Accurate with excellent attention to detail * Highly organised with ability to prioritise effectively * Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel Preferred: - Minimum of 3 years experience of delivery facilitation of training within Clinical Setting or for Health and Social Care sector (nursing or care) - Understanding of or ability to understand regulatory environments - Certified to deliver Basic Life Support and Moving and Handling Training (Care Setting) - CIPD Learning and Development Working Hours & Location: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Various locations across Scotland, including Glasgow, Dundee, Edinburgh?
