Head of Sales (Food and Drink or Retail) – Essex (hybrid 4 days in office) – Perm – Salary c£90K-£110K plus bonus and benefits Looking for a new challenge in the food and beverage industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales to join our clients team! The company is growing rapidly and we need someone with experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies to help achieve ambitious goals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic commercial operator with knowledge across several channels (preferably UK Retail first and foremost) in the food and beverage sector. You should be a great relationship builder, with a proven track record of driving sales growth. Responsibilities include creating and delivering the sales strategy across major retailers, wholesale & convenience, e-commerce, and export markets. You'll work closely with other departments to execute commercial plans that drive distribution, visibility, and rate of sale. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Planning Channel Management & Relationships Sales Performance & Reporting Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership Team Leadership & Development The role requires at least 4+ years of proven success in sales roles within the food & beverage industry, strong understanding of health and wellness trends, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to think creatively and strategically with a growth mindset, knowledge of commercial and office software (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint), understanding of P&L management.
